Rail & Fly

Rail & Fly is a partnership between Deutsche Bahn AG, the Association of German Transport Companies and participating travel agents.

Rail & Fly enables passengers to get to and from their plane journey by bus and rail without having to pay for another ticket.

It includes rail journeys in the Deutsche Bahn AG tariff area plus journeys on public transport within the participating transport associations.

Participating travel companies issue travel authorisations for free travel to and from the airport by bus and rail, either as a coupon or a booklet of vouchers.

The ticket is valid on the day of the reserved flight and the previous day, or on the day and day following the return flight, on all local transport in the VVO area (special tourist services excluded) or throughout Germany on DB AG trains.
